Leasing is a commercial and financial operation carried out by banks and financial establishment, or by a leasing company legally authorized and accredited as such.

This operation is supported by rental contract that may or may not include a purchase option in favor of the tenant and is exclusively relating to immovable and movable property for professional use or for business assets, or for handicraft establishments (order number 96-09 of January, 10th 1996, relating to the lease.)

In application of provisions of article 02 of the Executive Decree n° 06-90 of February 20th 2006, fixing the modalities of publicity of movable leasing operations, the national center of the trade register is charged of keeping the public register relating to publicity of movable leasing operations (the movable property, and the business assets).

For this proposes, the financial lessor must be presented to the CNRC local office territorially competent to complete the registration formalities by submitting:

• Two (02) copies of leasing contract;
• Two (02) slips provided by CNRC local offices legally fulfilled.

After verification the compliance conformity of documents presented, the officer carries out the leasing registration on the register keeped at the local office.
